Buit-in Editors

Coimbra contains built-in editors for the most frequent text formats (txt, rtf, html). Documents stored in these formats can be directly edited by the corresponding WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor. When using HTML, you are completely free in designing your documents. Images, videos, animations (such as Macromedia shockwave pieces), or Java applets can be embedded in the documents.

Coimbra allows to link external editors into the system in order to process those types of documents for which no internal editors are available. Thus you can even use MS WinWord as an external editor in order to work with .doc files of the database.
