Annotations

Annotations offer a convenient way to insert short notes and comments on any of the text pages. The annotations are always marked as private to the current user, unless he or she explicitely wishes to publish the notes. Thus students can be assured that their notes will not be available to the public, even if Coimbra is operated in a networked environment. Where several users share a common personal computer, the annotations are linked to the particular user. Any user on the PC may change only his or her own notes.
